Adaptive rotary files personalized to each canal’s morphology.

With the Woodpecker Endo GT Pro

Rotation until resistance. Reciprocation instantly.

The best clinical effect. The safest shaping.

Looking for optimal results with virtually no breakage? Because no two canals are the same.

Six files. One motor. One system.

Files that read the canal. A motor that listens to the file. Neither one works this well alone.

ATR · Adaptive Torque Reversal · with the Woodpecker Endo GT Pro

A rotary file that switches to reciprocation the instant resistance is detected.

That is the difference.

Rotation. Until resistance.

Reciprocation. Instantly.

Rotation.

Until resistance.

Continuous rotation (CW), 500 rpm. TorqueSense™ detects resistance changes instantly, delivering precise torque exactly when you need it.

Rotary kinematics

  • Superior debris transport and apical cleanliness
  • Smoother, more predictable canal shaping
  • Lower risk of ledging, zipping and apical transportation
  • Steadier tactile feedback about resistance and anatomy

→

Reciprocation.

Instantly.

Continuous rotation that switches instantly to reciprocation when resistance is detected, to prevent file breakage.

No preset torque values: TorqueSense™ learns the torque required in each canal segment and defines a dynamic safety threshold according to each file’s cutting surface.

Virtually no breakage. Optimal clinical results.

The files

They feel the canal.

Gold tip — built for torsional resistance at the apex, where resistance peaks and separation risk is the highest.

Blue body — flexes and prebends to follow the canal’s natural curves, reducing ledging and strain where anatomy gets challenging.

Silver shaft — fully austenitic; stays responsive under rotation and gives predictable control.

0.8 mm blank — less dentin engaged per turn = less torque on the file, an unobstructed irrigant pathway to the apical third, preserved peri-cervical dentin.

Convex triangular cross-section — maximum metal exactly where files snap; less contact with dentin, lower risk of taper lock.

The motor

It listens back.

TorqueSense™ — detects resistance changes instantly, delivering precise torque exactly when you need it. Learns the torque required in each canal segment — no preset torque values.

ATR — Adaptive Torque Reversal — continuous rotation that switches instantly to reciprocation when resistance is detected, to prevent file breakage.

T-Mode — intelligent “watch-winding” motion to safely bypass ledges and negotiate difficult canal anatomy.

ClearSignal™ — interference-free, fluid-resistant reading accuracy for locating the foramen exit.

The silver-to-blue transition is a mechanical buffer. The rigid shaft delivers the motor’s torque exactly — the blue zone absorbs the curve.

3 phases

alloy expressions

3 phases. Every file.

A three-phase heat treatment for continuous rotation. The gold-blue-silver gradient runs through all six files: the strength of the shank without trading the flexibility of the tip.

Designed for continuous rotation and a minimally invasive preparation that preserves peri-cervical dentin.

Gold transitional-phase tip

Strength at the tip. Built for torsional resistance at the apex, where resistance peaks and separation risk is highest. Provides the “bite” needed for calcified areas.

Blue martensitic body

Flex through the curve. Low rebound reduces the risk of cyclic fatigue and separation. Flexes and prebends to follow the canal’s natural curves, so the flutes keep working where debris hides.

Silver austenitic shaft

Control at the shaft. Fully austenitic; centering ability ensures precise coaxial alignment and stays responsive under rotation for predictable control.

Convex triangular cross-section

  • Maximum metal exactly where files snap
  • Reduces the contact area between the file and the dentin
  • Lowers the risk of “taper lock” or binding

0.8 mm blank

  • Less dentin engaged per turn = less torque on the file
  • Unobstructed pathway for irrigant delivery and exchange to the apical third
  • Preserved peri-cervical dentin

The TriShade™ method

Gradient Zone Technique

Because no two canals are the same. Three zones, a predictable workflow, reduced risk of transportation and clear decision points.

A shaping philosophy developed by Dr. Ken Serota, Endodontist, for the KP TriShade™ system.

Zone 3

Apical

Negotiate

Coronal zone — open the door

17/.08 → 16/.02

Removal of coronal interferences establishes a straight-line access corridor, reducing stress on files, improving tactile control and irrigant flow, and limiting apical debris extrusion.

17/.08

16/.02

Navigate

Mid-root zone — follow the curve

20/.04 → 25/.04

Greater flexibility allows passive navigation of mid-root curvature, reducing push-back against canal walls and reducing transportation, ledging and strip perforation while keeping the instrument centred.

20/.04

25/.04

Network

Apical zone — finish the last 4 mm

25/.06 → 35/.04

Designed for enhanced cutting, smoother apical control and reduced risk of lodging or apical transportation, while improving torsional resistance in the last 4 mm.
