What is PerioMonitor™?

PerioMonitor is a rapid, non-invasive, in-office, saliva-based test. It measures the patient’s leukocyte esterase level that is associated with active periodontal disease.

Simple to use

1. Pre-rinse for 15 seconds with tap water.
2. Wait for 2 minutes.
3. Rinse again with the total 10 mL rinse fluid provided for 30 seconds.
4. Expectorate in the PerioMonitor clear cup provided.
5. Completely dip the indicator pad of the strip in the rinse fluid for 1 second.
6. Remove and place the strip on a clean flat surface, indicator pad up.
7. Wait for 1 minute (but not more than 90 seconds) for the results.
